Songbird is a different kind of pediatric dental practice. Different in how it looks, how it sounds, and how it thinks about what actually matters in a child's long-term oral health. Before your first visit, we want you to know what we believe and why it shapes everything we do.

Kids who love visiting the dentist grow up to be adults who take care of their teeth.
Dental anxiety formed in childhood doesn't stay in childhood. It follows people for decades, leading to cancelled appointments, ignored pain, and real health consequences that compound over years.
The most clinically impactful thing a pediatric dentist can do is make sure a child wants to come back.
Music is a clinical decision.
Research is clear: music reduces cortisol levels, lowers heart rate, and eases a child’s anxiety in measurable ways. So when we say Songbird is built around music, we mean we're using a proven tool to do something that matters for how a child experiences their visit.
We also happen to think music is a beautiful way to build connection and community.

The waiting room looks like a stage.
Warm. Inviting. Visually alive. Guitars mounted on the walls. Child-size guitars that kids can actually play while they wait.
We thought carefully about every sensory detail, because first impressions are powerful and lasting. What a child sees, hears, and feels when they walk through that door shapes what they believe about this place, and about dental care, for a long time.
Kids choose their soundtrack.
Because the right environment makes all the difference, kids get to pick the soundtrack to their dental experience. Whether it’s their favorite show or album, or the lo-fi ambiance that makes them calm, we can cue it up.
Music and media are tools, not afterthoughts.
We are fully present with each patient.
The experience we designed at Songbird isn't possible within the constraints of an insurance model. Insurance-based dental practices are built around volume. We don't believe that serves children well, especially children who need to feel safe, go at their own pace, and build real trust with their dentist.
At Songbird, we see fewer patients per day so we can be fully present with each one. Instead of rushing through appointments, we take our time to build genuine trust so they’ll enjoy a lifetime of healthy dental habits.

Music builds community and connects us to one another. Here at Songbird, we are building a dental community that brings together all of the talents we want to share with you.
We’re here to put a song in every smile.
